More tunnels, more mountains, and the famous Brenner Pass into Austria. Don't forget to stop at the services before you enter the country to buy a pass to allow you rto drive on the motorway.

We had intended to go skiing on the Hintertux Glacier, one of only a few which offer 365 days a year access ot the slopes. With the camper's large garage we had packed skis and snowboards all ready for a a sneaky day on the piste at the beginning of June!
After a night out in Mayrhofen witnessing the best of traditional Austian folk dancing we stayed in an excellent campsite nearby with a pool and sauna! Unfortunately we were woken in the early hours by thunder and lightning - not something you want to be in on a metal chairlift of cable car! It won't be long before winter is here and our campers will be heading off to the alps. With full heating a campervan on a skitrip offers so much freedom.
So it was off for the long drive to Calais.
